Meathead: Revealing the Carnivore Philosophy

My chief reservation with the test of asking if our great great grandparents have eaten this, is that a follow-up question would be what effect did that diet have on them? Clearly they didn’t live longer than we do today. They didn’t have some of the ailments we suffer today, but they had others that we don’t worry about now, for a variety of reasons. Could we in the carnivore community simply be trading one set of problems for another?
They may not have lived longer because of medical technology but I I don’t think they were less healthy. Likely much more so. Dr. Chaffee talks extensively about this.
@@CarnivoreRabbi Thanks! I’ll check out Dr Chaffee’s videos. Sounds like an intriguing discussion/historical research topic. What did our ancestors die from? What can we learn both from their diet and lifestyle? Interesting… thanks for the reply.

maybe eating correctly doesnt increase length of life but it most definately improves quality of life, I rather not be shitting myself in a nursing home when im 60 years old lol
My grandparents all lived past 90 and some into the hundreds. Nowadays isn’t it around 70 considered the average death time? Even with all the healthcare. 🤔
You are a tonic. Thank you.
Are you aware that Maimonides was basically the founder of Keto? He opposed eating all fruits, most vegetables, and said to eat lamb, cheese, eggs, nuts. Very low carb.
I did not!! This is fascinating. I’m going to research it. Any references to recommend?
@CarnivoreRabbi Yes. Google “Maimonides NIH” and there’s an article comparing his recommendations to the current ones.

Standard of choice means boundaries. We learn what works in a positive manner to make our lives better. Then we can reject the other ideas.
YES, YES, YES!!!
Please can you do another video on this. I can’t find anything anywhere about this diet and philosophy. I am deeply interested in this 🙏
The fact that humans have been carnivores for almost all of our natural history has convinced me to try it about one year ago and I have never looked back. Thank you for spreading the word!
Thanks Harry! Welcome back!
I agree 💯.
