Why Personal Stories Change EVERYTHING on the Carnivore Diet

I agree with you. My mother lived to almost 94. She ate fatty meats, disliked sugar, and her cholesterol was off the charts. She had no dementia (besides rewriting our childhood) and would have lived longer if she hadn’t been a heavy smoker. I wish people would care more about their nutrition before falling ill. Most ‘testimonials’ are by people turning to proper foods once they are obese or have a life-threatening illness and are hoping for a cure. I am not overweight, have no illness, and want to keep it that way. That’s my motivation. I am also attracted by the simplicity. “Meal planning, shopping, and preparation” are on my list of a complete waste of precious time – along with ironing. I love the kindness in your voice and your open mind. I hope people hear you.
Thank you! A powerful story.
That’s a great perspective to have, Johanna! Big congrats to you!
Hello from Canada. Very well said. Love your videos.
Many many thanks from China, not only for your clear voice explanation, but also much much more for your BIG screen subtitles, for Enlish is not my first language, even thouth on YouTube, there is automatic translation, but there are so many misunderstanding words and false translation there. As I watched your interview on the Channel ‘ CARNIVORE TODAY’, I immediately subscribed your channel 😃❤🌹🌹🌹
Have a happy Passover!

Absolutely! Also, reading comments was what had caused me not to take part in the human experiment back in 2020. “Anecdotal” is the new buzz curse word, apparently. I don’t care tho, I like it!
I believe my own personal experience on the heart Attack Diet since 1983. It’s so easy to know what I eat based on what is in the refrigerator and my freezer.
The people who own the food industry also own the healthcare industry and the researchers and the regulators.
A few years ago before the Carnivore diet started to blow up, while doing my weekly shopping at my local farmers market, I came across a gentleman that was there to buy a ton of beef. We started chatting and he told me about this carnivore diet he was doing where he just ate meat and cured “many ailments.” I was intrigued. I had just gone back to eating meat from doing a vegan diet that left me depleted. I also have Hashimotos and CIRS from mold poisoning. Well, just a about a month ago I remembered this gentleman because I have just been sick and tired of going to doctors for so many issues and Im tired of being tired. I feel God placed him in my path at that point in my life because as soon as I thought about him, I started to look for videos and came across Dr. Berry. Well, here I am, one month in, my allergies have almost dissipated, my weird stomach symptoms have gotten better, Im still trying to heal other things but I am noticing a difference in certain areas. Going to keep it going 🎉
Fantastic!!!
I don’t think comments on YT are “testimonials”, they are just comments.
What’s the difference?
For-profit companies pay for fake studies to brainwash us to buy their products and pharma.
You imply personal comments are more truthful than studies and I never thought about that, excellent point.
Those stories are definitely more truthful, especially when you’ve learned how the studies are done, and funded!
Why is our federal government subsidizing EV’s when this is putting huge profits in the EV’s pockets and this is the definition of Socialism, if republicans are true capitalists, they should be against this instead of in favor of it.
Personal stories are obviously biased though. The point of a study is to get info on every participant, not just the ones who are, first, willing to share their story, and second, in a comment section that will promote positive anecdotes over negative ones. Studies are much better, relying on personal stories makes carnivore look like a fad diet.
Studies have their place, but when it comes to nutrition, I find personal stories more instructive
From the NIH itself “Fraud and misconduct in clinical research is widespread.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3700330/
Carnivores are probably the only people who can accurately answer a food questionnaire. What did you eat last week…. 4 eggs with heavy cream, 5 strips of bacon and a 1lb ribeye. Each day. Sure it sounds monotonous but after a little while you stop having the emotional need for the “excitement” of eating. Its just a task we do, like pooping, though much more often!
Couldn’t agree more! Personal results from real people are best!
